We believe that the environment that children grow up in, can shape them. We protect our environment by having a standard, a culture, a discipline, the environment within RDF is for children to have fun and grow transferable life skills that exist within the game, and in the world. Our basketball academy isn’t built from the game, the game is just apart of the journey in life. A game that has connected us with thousands of people in the UK and across the Globe.
MINI BASKETBALL
This pathway is for children aged 5-8 years old, that would like to improve their skills, have fun, develop social skills and be introduced to the game of basketball
PATHWAYS
OPEN SESSIONS
This pathway is for children aged 9-12 years old, that would like to improve their skills, have fun, develop social skills and be introduced to the game of basketball
DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY
This pathway is for children aged 13-17 years old, that would like to improve their skills, have fun, develop social skills and potentially prepare for competitions, this pathway provides the option for players to train recreationally or develop towards our Elite Programme
ELITE PATHWAY
This pathway is for children aged 5-18 years old, that would like to improve their skills, have fun, develop social skills, develop IQ and apply everything they learn against high level competition, we compete in some of the highest youth basketball leagues/tournaments in the UK and across EUROPE. Our elite players, train unto 5x per week, analyse film in preparation for competition, regular classroom sessions, mentoring and have access to the Gym 7 days a week.

Amazing club with such a welcoming and kind atmosphere! I was nervous to join at first but everyone was beyond sweet and supportive and it feels like one big happy family! Coach Lamar has really helped me with my skills and he is extremely understanding if you have had an injury (which I have had).
Highly recommend the club no matter what level you are! Can’t wait to see what the future brings for me and everyone else at the club ❤️

I have trained at many clubs before RDF and I wish I joined sooner. All the coaches and players are more welcoming than anywhere else i have played.
RDF provides opportunities to play at a high level throughout Europe, as well as the top leagues in England for each age group. I have been to Latvia and Lithuania and I’m looking forward to travel to Portugal. If you are aged under 10s - under 18s boy or girl, RDF is the place for you.

We welcome players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Our training sessions and leagues are designed to help everyone improve and enjoy the game.

Players should bring appropriate sport shoes, comfortable sportswear, and a water bottle. We provide basketballs and other necessary equipment during sessions.
